I hipped my friends to Smashbox Cosmetics The Shades Of Fame Collection.
My goodness they beat me to the punch on our girls’ night out by wearing
the trio smoldering bold colors from the Eye Palette ($48). For
lunch their eyes were a pop of beauty from the bright color hues in Bliss
Honey, Sandstone, Nude and Sherbert. That was fun - NOT! Then we met
up for cocktails later on that evening and they used the darker shades in Safari,
Pacific, Praline, Mocha, Gold and Bronze for a sultrier look and they
had the audacity to use the Mini Photo Finish Lid Primer to keep
the shadow budge-proof leaving no creases. UGGH!
That's okay, I was able to keep a leg up on them; you know the master never gives everything away. I wore the Reflection High Gloss Lip Gloss Set ($29) that enhanced my perfect pout. Smacked my way through hors d'oeuvres and sipped my drink (side-straw sip) wearing my travel-sized collection enriched with Vitamin E, Vegetal Filling Spheres and Light Reflective Pearl gloss in Hibiscus (other shades are): Candy, Buff, Papaya and Star). My lips looked soft and supple without smudging. They didn't scan the QR code on the bottom of the cosmetics to get the jump on inside information for trendy looks from the studios.
