Carolina Herrera - - Fall 2005 Collection
The Carolina Henrera Fall 2005 Collection is inspired by the women of the 40's and their elegant approach to daytime. The dramatic shapes of the 40's are softened and modernized by using lightweight tweeds and geometric chiffon prints. Jackets and coats emphasize the waist, while skirts and dresses combine architectural elements to create volume and movement.
The colors of mimosa, raspberry, violet, blush and charcoal grey are inspired by the semi-precious stones that embellish the collection. In addition to the intricate threadwork embroideries and beautiful crystal beading, the colors themselves become a focal point due to their intensity and vibrance.
The contrast of furs, semi-precious stones and intense colors with fluid silhouettes and feminine details results in a glamorous and effortless approach to dressing for fall 2005.
