A New Direction in American Chic.
Pure glamour....an elegant spirit .....and a flirty
femininity....that's the look of Pamella Roland's fall/winter 2004
collection. Inspired by the essence of feminine beauty and
mystique, designer Pamella DeVos's new collection boasts a
sophistication and elegance that's been missing from the
runways: dramatic textures, radiant colors, luxurious fabrics
and clean, classic lines.
"What we envisioned for fall 2004 was modern luxe...that allows
women to dress like individuals and to combine looks in their
own unique way," DeVos explains. 'The woman I design for is
confident and independent ....but not afraid to show her
romantic, feminine side. She is an elegant fashion sophisticate
with a taste for luxury."
The mood is sheer indulgence at Pamella Roland: from the
extraordinary details of her daywear to the romantic, ultra-
feminine gowns of her eveningwear category....designs that are
bound to turn every head in the room. Pamella DeVos's fixation
with interesting fabrications continues...this season features
floaty chiffons, stretch leathers, dramatic velvets, and sensuous
silks to create clothes that feel as sumptuous as they appear.
Fall 2004 offers an eclectic mix of finely tailored suits and
structured jackets with attention grabbing details like pink mink
trims. Rich black cashmere coat styles stay fresh with a striking
pink lining. The silhouettes are soft and appealing to create a
look that exudes comfort and attitude. The collection embraces
the jet-set spirit: cashmere wraps with fur trim, velvet ribbons,
brilliant lace, and silk printed linings.
For nighttime elegance, DeVos presents romantic floor-length
silk gowns in captivating jewel tones like ruby and emerald, as
well as classic black. Look for her showstoppers: satin gowns
paired with satin evening coats with fur cuffs, sexy halter styles,
pretty crepe versions with daring open back, and feather-light
"Pamella Roland's fall/winter collection is beautiful and
passionate in its spirit," says DeVos. "But subtle enough to let
our client's individuality shine."
