B michael fall 2011 collection, which gave a nod to stylish elegance, was rightly held in the Edwardian Room at The Plaza. But don't expect a lot of shiny or beaded frocks like many designers this season. This is a well-constructed, desirable collection that caters to b michael's clientele: celebrities, socialites, and style mavens.

Fall 2011 included cocktail dresses, gowns, and an assortment of suits. A highlight of the show was when Cicely Tyson appeared on the runway in a black and white silk brocade gown, much to the delight of the crowd and this writer!
