A Détacher spring/summer 2012 was titled: Grandma's House. Models’ grandmas were celebrated in the run-of-show with brief anecdotes about their grandmothers as opposed to the usual garment description after each model’s name.

As for the collection, gossamer silks, neutral tweeds, and enlarged prints were sighted. Some silhouettes were exaggerated with a singular puffy sleeve. The accessories were not to be missed. The two-tone suede sandal which featured a low back and short chunky heel, were raved about by members of the audience.
