Cynthia Rowley's spring 2009 collection is a futuristic, athletic and minimalist take on the boardroom diva. A clean, geometric silhouette paired with eye-popping accessories (like a gold waist ring!) add depth to one of Rowley's better offerings in recent memory.

Body-conscious sheath and tank dresses constructed from polished black linen were spotted on the Cynthia Rowley gal as were modern must-have handbags crafted from life-jacket material.

Sheer fabrics and experimentation with transparency were all the rage while soft white, black, and cream colors dominated the collection. We also adored the real life clock backdrop on the runway with its countless metaphoric connotations.
