Rubin Singerís first independent collection was filled with very feminine pieces that drew your attention in towards the waistline. Skirts had hemlines ranging from soaring minis to a more professional calf-length, which were paired with the sheerest of sheer, leg of mutton sleeved blouses.
Subdued, and yet strong, were the hues of yellows, whites, fuchsias, and reds that made for a beautiful kaleidoscope brought to life. The finest silks, jerseys, cottons, and chiffons hugged the waists of the models with the aid of belts that also happened to be designed by Singer himself. Classic pieces of bygone eras seems to be this young designerís muse.
